Seattle-based photographer Aly Medina founded La Luz Photography in 2005 and spent 15 years photographing weddings and portraits known for their natural light, effortless elegance, and attention to detail. Her work earned a loyal following for its timeless yet approachable feel, the result of an artist’s eye for beauty in the everyday and a gift for making clients feel at ease.

After pausing her photography career in 2019 to focus on family and explore new creative directions, Aly went on to launch Details, Darling - an Instagram platform devoted to fashion, travel, and intentional living. Today, she’s bringing those worlds together once more.

 

With a refined eye and a focus on genuine moments, she creates portraits that beautifully reflect connection, personality, and the feeling of a place.
